Moving Maps & Charts on's Android App
The latest update to's popular Android App is meeting with great success. Our Android users are enjoying several enhanced features.
Most recently added moving map displays for sectionals and enroute charts for the U.S. Soon we'll have low and high altitude enroute charts for Canada and the Caribbean. With the moving map display you can make notations along your route, which can be viewed later while in flight or on the ground. The 'breadcrumb' feature lets you record where your flight takes you. From take-off to landing, you can see the actual route that your aircraft flew. You can also 'track up' for better directional display.
Import all of your flight plan routes from your account (plus those from shared accounts) onto your maps/charts with the push of a button. There's no need to retype your route.
All the data you need for your flight is available (offline or online) with a long press to one of your routes. You can also import your NavLogs and Weather for offline viewing.
Also, look for document downloading & sharing on your Android device. More in our next newsletter. Best of all,'s mobile apps are free.

Now Store Documents/Images/Spreadsheets as Part of Your FltPlan App now lets you store documents as part of your FltPlan iPad app. This allows for easy access and makes your flight planning experience more streamlined.
You can view documents that you have previously uploaded to the website and now have them available in the iPad app for later viewing offline. All of your documents will be conveniently displayed in the Documents section on the website and on your mobile apps (iPad/iPhone and Android devices).
