FltPlan.com Celebrates 14 Years Online
This month marks FltPlan.com's 14th year on the web. FltPlan.com has grown from a small flight-planning service to the largest flight-planning service in North America. Our company supports over 130,000 pilots with services ranging from flight plan filing, FBO/Airport information, Flight Tracking, certified eAPIS submissions, SMS (IS-BAO and ACSF), Runway Analysis, Weight and Balance, eLogbook program, Mexican/Caribbean/Central American Handling, Mexican and Cuban Overflight Services, Pre-Departure Clearances, FAA-approved certified weather, and early flight plan submissions to the FAA's CDM program. We also interface with the Corporate Angel Network. The list goes on and on.

Last month was our busiest month ever across the board, with new records set for the number of active registered users, flight plans created, number of flight plans filed, and the number of pilots using our free Android, Blackberry, and iPad apps.

It's been an eventful 14 years, and we will continue serving the aviation community with dependable service, accurate information, and new features for many decades to come.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make FltPlan.com a success.

FltPlan.com's new Free iPad App, FltPlan Go, is Coming Soon
FltPlan.com will release its new free iPad app, FltPlan Go, later this month. FltPlan Go was demonstrated at AirVenture 2013 in Oshkosh earlier this month and received a great reception.

Below are a couple of the new features on the FltPlan Go app that we want to highlight:

Breadcrumbs: leaves a trail on the screen of where you have been.

Other features coming in FltPlan GO include:
• Rubber banding for flight planning
• Ability to create and edit routes offline
• ADS-B and XM - WX capabilities
• Helicopter Routes, TAC Charts, SUAs for offline use
• Geo-Referenced Airport Charts (in addition to Geo-referenced Charts)
• Ability to save notes and highlight on multiple approach charts

All these features will work online and offline. The best part is that this new app integrates with our free website (and our other mobile devices) for one-stop flight planning.

Look for the launch of FltPlan GO in a coming issue of FltPlan.com's FltBrief Newsletter.

FBO Comments Button: Let other pilots know what you think
Did you get great service at the last FBO you used? Would you like to let other pilots know? We have an FBO Comments button on the Airport Information page for just that purpose. Use this button to leave comments for an individual FBO, rather than having comments about FBOs being lumped together under Airport Comments. It's easier to find out what other pilots have to say and easier to make sure your opinion is seen.

The Airport Comments is meant to be used solely for topics specific to the airport, such as mountains, nearby attractions, runway conditions, etc.

To use the FBO Comments button, you must be logged into your account. Select FBO & Airport Info from the links on the left side of the Main Menu page, and then look for FBO Comments on the right of the FBO listing.
